We never hold or move the money, so there's nothing for us to lose or freeze. It's the payout math and paper trail, not tax filing, withholding, or 1099 handling, so that side stays yours.

No, it's their choice. The app is the smoothest way for your crew to claim spots and check their schedule, but anyone can do the same from the web on their phone. Either way, reminders go out automatically, so nobody's depending on your group text. You, as the admin, can run everything from the web or the app.
